Part-time Security Guard

2^nd shift weekends, plus additional hours as needed

University school of Milwaukee is seeking a qualified person to serve as a uniformed security guard 2^nd shift on weekends, additional hours required on a need basis.

Security Duties Include:

• Provide continuous monitoring of campus property including security inspections of all doors, windows and gates by conducting walking and driving tours
• Provide protection of property against such hazards as fire, theft, damage, accident, or trespass
• Assist with traffic and parking enforcement
• Complete a preset walking electronic guarding tour
• Logging and detailing event information

 The ideal candidate will have:

• The ability to be flexible with scheduled work hours
• A valid Wisconsin drivers license with a clean record
• Good communication skills
• A pleasant personality
• Detail orientated
• Ability to deal with a wide variety of people and situations
• Ability to quickly and calmly assess situations
