Parents' Association
Being involved
The goal of the Association is to support and develop the human resources of the school by encouraging close cooperation and communication among the administration, faculty, trustees, parents, and students. Other goals include supporting all school activities: curricular and extra-curricular. The Parents' Association emphasis on volunteer participation by organizing fund raisers to provide financial support as needed; provides our parent body with a forum both to learn and to express their views and promotes a broad scale parent involvement. Full consideration is given in Board and committee chair positions to mothers, fathers, as well as working and non-working parents, so that the Board represents the true diversity of USM's community. All parents/guardians of current USM students are members of the Parents' Association.
