|Wisconsin Football Coaches Select Senior Billy Ostermeyer for All-Star Classic|
University School senior Billy Ostermeyer has been selected to represent his school as a member of the South roster at the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association’s annual All-Star Classic. The All-star game will be played at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16th, at UW-Oshkosh's Titan Stadium.
The WFCA All Star game dates back to 1999. At that time there was one All Star Game for all seven divisions of Wisconsin football. In 2009 the WFCA expanded the All Star series to 2 games, 1 with North South teams representing Divisions 1-3 and a second with North South teams representing Divisions 4-7. Ostermeyer will participate in the game for Divisions 4-7. He is one of 184 of Wisconsin’s top senior football players who will play in the 2 games, 46 per team. Ostermeyer becomes the third USM player to achieve this honor. In 2005, Nate Servis was the first USM player to earn a roster spot on the WFCA All Star game roster. Beau Palin earned a spot on the expanded rosters in 2009. Ostermeyer plans to play college football at Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California next fall. The Stags are a member of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
