Wildcat Qualifier FTC Robotics Competition

We are excited to host the 2nd annual Wildcat Qualifier, a FIRST Robotics FTC competition, on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019.

The mission of FIRST is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

At USM, we embrace FIRST Robotics and their core values to provide students opportunities to learn, grow, and explore in and outside the classroom in grades K-12.

Registration Information

Registration for the Wildcat Qualifier can be completed on the FTC Webpage. Registration will begin soon, so please check back soon for additional information. If you have any questions, please contact David Anderson or Nikki Lucyk.

Directions and Map

The Wildcat Qualifier will take place in the Upper School Gym (Building O on the campus map). The designated equipment drop-off area will be building N on the campus map, which is between the Upper School gym and the Uihlein Ice Arena. Once teams/robots have been dropped off, please find parking in the Upper School lots (P5-P8). All attendees should enter through Door 35 on the campus map

Volunteer Information

We need judges, referees, scorekeepers, and other volunteers to help with the event. Please complete the following steps to become a volunteer.

  • Register by signing up to create a profile.
  • Our event is the First Tech Challenge Dec. 15 Wildcat Qualifier
  • Sign up as a "Floater" and the Tournament Directors will assign you to the available roles unless you have previous experience working in an FTC Regional Qualifier. Remember that every great FTC event needs judges, referees, etc.
