Guest Author Visits

Upper School Book Club

In the Upper School, we connect our author visits to a dynamic book club run through the leadership of our students under the guidance of Laura Klein, Upper School librarian. Each month students meet in the Stratton Upper School Library to discuss books that the club has preselected through a nomination and voting process.

Throughout the school year, book club hosts author SKYPE sessions, organizes author luncheons, and leads discussions on selected book titles. Book club members are an integral part in welcoming guest authors and hosting luncheons on campus. We also invite students, faculty, and the USM community to join us for programming around our author visits. These opportunities provide a personal connection to the writers of books we read, where dynamic discussions, discoveries, and insights are brought to the table.

Please respond to this form if you are interested in receiving updates on upcoming author talks, luncheons, and SKYPE sessions.
