When Laura Fuller arrived at University School of Milwaukee in 2011, she was given the charge to build upon a very good school and make it an even better one. Hired as the school's first female head, she was seen as a strong leader, excellent collaborator, and wonderful listener—qualities that have been valuable assets for her during her nine years leading the school.
Today, we celebrate Laura, as she—along with her husband, Tom, who is retiring as USM's director of transportation—concludes her career in education. Please join us in congratulating Laura on her retirement! Although we are not able to celebrate her in person due to our current social distancing guidelines, we hope you will take a few minutes to view our school's farewell message to her as we thank her for her hard work and dedication.
