Upper School Math Teacher
USM is seeking a full-time Upper School Math Teacher for the 2019-20 school year. The ideal applicant will support the school's mission through teaching math in the Upper School's math program. The teacher will provide innovative instruction to meet a variety of student needs, in alignment with the school's curriculum goals. They will lead students towards fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth and maturation. This teacher will perform complex professional work, while motivating students to develop skills in the area of mathematics. Applicants should be collaborative, proactive, and passionate about working with the math department and their students, and understand the physical, intellectual, and emotional needs of this age group. Middle School English Teacher
USM is seeking a full-time 8th grade English teacher for Middle School to begin at the start of the 2019-20 school year. The ideal applicant will create a dynamic, innovative English language arts learning environment based upon student choice to meet a variety of student needs and abilities while inspiring students towards fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, social maturation. Furthermore, this teacher will work in a collaborative community where voice and perspective matter. The position includes teaching the outlined English language arts curriculum; designing comprehensible and innovative classroom curriculum and activities in reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar with the freedom of not having to teach to a textbook; preparing frequent students feedback, both formative and summative, including grades; and regularly co-planning curriculum by working closely with other English language arts teachers, particularly in grades 5-7 and 9th grade. This teacher plays a key role in student's successful transition from USM's Middle School to Upper School. Graphic Designer and Creative Manager

After School Program
Part-time After School Staff
USM is seeking individuals to work in their After School program for the 2018-19 school year. After School hours are 2:45-6 p.m. daily. Flexible scheduling is available. Applicants should enjoy working with school age and preschool age children. Workers must be energetic and have good communication skills for work with parents, teachers, and students. Part-Time Bus Driver
USM is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver to start in April, 2019. Part-Time Student Safety Officer
