Teaching Positions
Middle School French Teacher, Part-time
USM is seeking a part-time French Teacher for Middle School to teach 2 t0 3 sections, in grades 5 through 8, for the 2019-20 school year. The ideal applicant will create a dynamic and modern world-language experience for all students, possesses a high level of expertise in the French language and the francophone world, and has teaching experience at the Middle School level. Furthermore, this teacher will work in a collaborative community where voice and perspective matter; at University School, we believe that a diverse community helps encourage an authentic understanding of all people and makes us stronger. Qualified candidates will promote high expectations, demonstrate quality instruction, and teach in an oral-proficiency classroom. The position includes teaching the outlined French curriculum; designing comprehensible and innovative classroom curriculum and activities in French with the freedom of not having to teach to a  textbook; preparing frequent student feedback, both formative and summative, including grades; and regularly co-planning curriculum by working closely with other World Language teachers. Applicants should be passionate about teaching Middle School students and understand the physical, intellectual, and emotional needs of this age group. Enthusiasm, dedication, and professionalism are essential. Experience with educational technology is also a requirement. Upper School English Teacher, Part-time
USM is seeking a part-time Upper School English teacher for the 2019-20 school year. The successful candidate will provide innovative instruction to meet a variety of student needs, in alignment with the school's curriculum goals. After School Program
Part-time After School Staff
USM is seeking individuals to work in their After School program for the 2018-19 school year. After School hours are 2:45-6 p.m. daily. Flexible scheduling is available. Applicants should enjoy working with school age and preschool age children. Workers must be energetic and have good communication skills for work with parents, teachers, and students. Equipment and Events Coordinator

Part-Time Bus Driver
USM is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver to start in April, 2019. The successful candidate will ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the students, staff, and volunteers during bus transportation to and from the school, as well as on field trips and other activities. Part-Time Student Safety Officer
University School of Milwaukee is seeking qualified people to serve as part-time uniformed student safety officers. The ideal candidate will have excellent integrity, good communication skills, and the ability to calmly assess situations.
