Students Celebrate Irish Culture

Upper School students celebrated Irish culture through song and dance at a recent assembly. Upper School French Teacher Brett Lipshutz was joined by fellow musician Vidar Skrede in playing traditional Irish folk music on a variety of instruments. They were accompanied by Quinn Tevlin ’18, who layered electronic music on top of the instrumentals, live on stage. In addition, dancers led by Maggie Nowakowski ’17 displayed their impressive Irish clog-dancing talent and even taught a group of audience volunteers the steps to a traditional Irish jig.
